Water Margin: Hong Kong's Link to the Sea
Ocean Recovery Alliance and Flynn Consulting are proud to announce that they have published a coffee table book called 'Water Margin: Hong Kong's Link to the Sea.' This is a bilingual publication being donated Hong Kong's 700 secondary schools, and available for the general public through fine bookstores and outlets such as the Mandarin Oriental and Indigo. The goal is to bring awareness to one of the biggest natural assets that Hong Kong has - the ocean.

The timing for this book complements the government's exciting new ocean protection efforts, by initiating one of the world's first complete bans of trawling in all of the territory's waters - a very destructive and indiscriminate fishing method that has resulted in large scale fishery and ecosystem loss in Hong Kong waters. This marks a significant change in policy towards the ocean, and we believe, marks the beginning of a new era where the ocean can rejuvinate itself and bring considerable value back to many aspects of life within the Hong Kong community.
